From cult spaghetti western director Sergio Corbucci (Django) comes The Hellbenders, starring Joseph Cotten (The Third Man, Duel in the Sun) and featuring a brilliant score by legendary composer Ennio Morricone (The Good, The Bad and the Ugly). After the Civil War, a Unionist convoy transporting one million dollars is attacked by the ex-Confederate Colonel Jonas (Cotten) and his three sons. The fanatical Jonas wants the money to re-form his regiment and to re-ignite the war against the North. However, first they have to smuggle a coffin crammed with the stolen cash across a perilous frontier full of rivalries, treason, and violence.
